COMMISSIONING & MAINTENANCE
Commissioning of your UPS by a dedicated field service engineer is essential for all larger UPS installations. It is important to check and test all input and output connections prior to the UPS being brought online. A full commissioning report will be provided and the UPS registered for its warranty period.
Once your UPS system is up and running, service cover is available on a tiered basis. You may opt for support during working hours only, or twenty-four hours a day with a minimum guaranteed response time.
Preventative maintenance takes place annually or at more frequent intervals if preferred. We will monitor the internal components, and make recommendations for battery and other consumables replacement in advance, allowing you to budget accordingly.
Should a problem arise, telephone and on-site support is provided by field service engineers. Online monitoring subscriptions allow UPS operational data to be analysed remotely by engineers in case of anomalies or faults. Engineers can arrive on site already with the knowledge of where a problem may lie.
Northern Power UPS also offer direct support for all single-phase “plug and play” uninterruptible power supplies. This ensures peace of mind with a full battery replacement or UPS swap-out programme should a fault develop.
